Practical Jokes - Norwich Terrier
Breed - Health & Genetics
There are no major problems associated with the Norwich race, some do suffer from collapsing tracheas and epilepsy. Epilepsy is usually controllable with medication, but there are a few animals whose seizures can not be easily controlled.
However, these disorders do not happen very often. This is a fairly long living breed with an average life expectancy of 12-15 years.
All of our Norwichs (1,5 years and older) have been Cerf (eyes - annually) tested clear, PAR tested NAB, and also have their patellas (knees) OFA as well, Upper airway Syndrome: examined as also well.
